In 2000, auditors from Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI), after a rigorous inspection in the industry, verified that Tamarana Metals identifies and administrates environmental impacts; promotes constant improvements in industrial activities; minimizes risks of aggressions to the ecosystem; and follow into details the environmental legislation of the country.

However, it is not enough holding the ISO 14001 stamp. The concern of Tamarana Metals with the ecological balance is something that can be verified in daily life by observing the variety of animal species living in the surroundings of the company.
