The human being is the main concern of Tamarana Metals. This is the reason why the company develops projects of social responsibility focused on the internal and external communities.
Part of those actions are the Good Student Program, the Water Drop Program, the Factory's School Project and the Worker's Education Project.
The Good Student Program, maintained by Tamarana Metals, offers the continuation of study up to graduate levels through scholarships for the kids and young children of poor families in the region. The Water Drop Program is developed in partnership with COPAT. The program takes the environmental education subject to the schools of the city.
Tamarana also supports the constant evolution of its employees through educational initiatives such as the Factory's School Project and the Worker's Education Project. With the Factory's School, Tamarana promotes, in a partnership with the Union of Professors and the Technical School of the Federal University of Parana, professional formation courses inside the company. With the Worker's Education Project, the company offers to the employees the conclusion of their regular studies.
